Coventry City manager Andy Thorn feels that City gave themselves a chance of staying up with a 1-1 draw at Burnley.
Speaking to the Press Association, Thorn said: "Burnley is never an easy place to come and to have come away with a draw and still be in there with two home games to come is great, we've given ourselves a chance.
"We didn't do a lot wrong, their keeper pulled off some fantastic saves and then it was a poor goal to concede. But we came out in the second half and showed character.
"We had to change it to get back in it. There was an element of injury with all three players that came off but we needed to make the ball stick more and Platt gives us that option.
"He is effective off the bench and so it proved. We've picked up quite a few injuries but we had to get back into the game and we had to make three substitutions at once to do that."
