Bristol City are finally out of the FA Cup losing 5-4 at Middlesbrough in an FA Cup Fourth Round Replay. Noble put the Robins ahead before Viduka and Yakuba goals made it 2-1 Boro in the 102nd minute. However, Gary Johnson's side who knocked out the Sky Blues in Round Three equalised in the 117th minute to take the game in penalties.

Darren Huckerby scored twice for Norwich as they came from behind to beat Blackpool 3-2 after extra time. Norwich face Chelsea on Saturday in the Fifth Round.

In the only Championship game of the evening, West Brom won 2-1 at Colchester United. Former Sky Blue Jonnie Jackson scored for Colchester.

Locally, Nuneaton Borough beat Stalybridge Celtic 3-2 at Manor Park. In the Midland Alliance, leaders Leamington were in fine form with a 4-0 victory at Quorn. Atherstone Town drew 1-1 at Boldmere,Racing Club Wawick beat Biddulph Victoria 4-0 with Stratford Town beating Alvechurch 3-1.

Coventry Sphinx were held to a 3-3 draw in their Midland Combination Premier Division fixture at Castle Vale. Ian Wilson,Jerome Murdock and Craig Martin got the goals for Paul Charnley's side. Sphinx remain behind leaders Highgate United who beat Coventry Copsewood 3-0.

Former Sky Blue Craig Reid scored twice for Cheltenham Town Reserves in a 2-1 win over Yeovil tonight at Whaddon Road.
