Coventry City managers Aidy Boothroyd has seen his efforts to assemble a competitive team boosted with the return to training of two of his players.

Striker Freddy Eastwood and full back Chris Hussey (Pictured below) have both recovered from their injuries and operations and are now back in full training.

Neither player will be available for tomorrows home game against Barnsley though as the players have not yet recovered their full fitness. Boothroyd hopes to be able to select the two players by next Saturday' clash at Sheffield United.

Boothroyd confirmed to the CT: "It might be a little too early this weekend but it is nice that I am going to have a little problem ahead of the next game. So I am looking forward to getting them back because then the competition for places hots up again."

On top of the news about the return of Eastwood and Hussey, Boothroyd was also cheered with the news that two of his other injured players, David Bell and Stephen O'Halloran could be back in contention a week later.

"As far as David Bell and Stephen O'Halloran are concerned, they might be back the week after and hopefully we will soon have a fully fit squad all fighting for places, said Boothroyd.
