Former Coventry City youngster Jermaine Grandison has signed a new one year deal with Shrewsbury Town.
Grandison told Shrewsbury's club website: "It's finally sorted now, just in time for the season.
"I can't wait for tomorrow's game and hopefully a successful season again.
"On both parts we've been having quite a few discussions and we were waiting for the budget to be sorted for me to be able to sign.
"I've been here since I was young and hopefully we can have a good season.
"I feel ready to go. All of the new lads have bonded and gelled together, so we're ready to start the season.
"After last season, we all want to do well again and have a successful season.
"We've had really good players come in and, with the players that were already here, we've got a really good chance.
"Everyone's raring to go and we're looking forward to showing everyone how good we are."
