Grandison is back at the club after his loan at Tranmere Rovers ended but despite, City beng down on defenders due to injuries to James McPake and Ben, the City boss does not see Grandison as part of his current plans.
Speaking to the CT, Boothroyd said: "He's not ready for us yet. "He needs to get games on loan."
