Grass Is Greener At The Arena

Coventry City will play on a revolutionary new playing surface at the Arena next season.

The pitch which will meet the standard pitch requirements will see normal grass seeds interwoven with a synthetic grass fabric to produce a surface which should be more hard wearing.

Over 4,000 tonnes of the seed pioneered by a Dutch company will be sown over the next few weeks.
