Coventry City forward Clive Platt has said it would be great if City could be safe before they go to Champions Elect Southampton for the final game of the season on Saturday April 28th (12.30pm kick off)
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Platt said: "I think Southampton are on the way to being promoted before the end of the season. We went to Norwich last year and they had already been promoted which made it a good footballing match with pressure off both teams.
"Hopefully, we can get that atmosphere again this year. I think if we can carry on the form we have been creating, we can be safe by then.
"We need to stay focused on that and it would be great for everybody at the club and the fans if we could assure safety as soon as possible."
