Coventry City Caretaker Manager Lee Carsley praised goalscorer Leon Clarke for his performance in the 2-0 victory at AFC Bournemouth.
Clarke beat off two defenders before getting the ball on the left and thumping it past Jalal to give City a first half lead, which was doubled when captain Carl Baker converted a penalty six minutes from time.
"It was a great performance from Leon tonight, " Lee Carsley told the club website.
"He has had to work hard throughout the game and it just shows his quality, even without the ball. His goal was brilliantly taken tonight and we are all really happy for him.
"He needs to keep that up until the end of the season and who knows how many goals he will score."
