Greed Scuppered Deal

According to various Scottish media reports, the deal to sign Nacho Novo from Rangers was scuppered due to demands made by the Spaniard and his advisors being unacceptable to both parties.

One report has suggested that Novo wanted Rangers to compensate him for joining City on less money. It is understood that this meant the Glasgow Giants paying the difference to make up his wages to their current level.

The 27 year old now faces an uncertain future at Ibrox and will probably look to get away in January when the transfer window reopens.
