Former Coventry City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson has been defended by Cardiff City over allegations that their team to play Crystal Palace was leaked, leading to a 3-0 defeat, a result that Cardiff City now want anulled.
Gunnarsson's name was mentioned during an investigation into the leak and the Icelander has vehemently denied any involvement.
He has been supported by his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who said the former City player would be in the squad to face Stoke City unless he was injured and is quoted as saying: "We will defend his name and reputation to the edge of the cliff, definitely."
Gunnarsson tweeted: "Appreciate all the support."
