According to the rumour mill, Coventry City's combative Icelandic midfielder Aron Gunnarsson is being targeted by Burnley, Middlesbrough and Bolton.
Gunnarsson joined Coventry from AZ Alkmar in 2008. He was the Sky Blues player of the year 2009 at the end in his first year at the club.
He is a regular in the Coventry first team as well as an Icelandic international for whom he has 17 full caps and 7 under 21 caps.
Burnley have been linked with the 20 year old Gunnarsson before, but nothing came of the speculation.
He has a year left on his contract at Coventry where he is a fans favourite, although during his second year at The Ricoh his form was not as good as the previous season.
Gunnarsson is famous for his trade mark long, low flight throw ins, which can cause consternation in opposition defences.
