The Ice Man, whose award's this season include the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year Award, the CCFC Community Player Of The Year and the CCFC Website Player Of The Year says the following in his blog:
"This is my final blog of the season. I'm writing it on Friday but when you read it I will already be back in Iceland because on Sunday 13th I'm going back for most of the summer and won't be around again until pre-season.
I moved to England last July when I signed for the club and I've not been back home since, so it's something I'm really looking forward to.
My mum is coming back too and we're just packing to get everything sorted before we fly.
My summer won't start properly for a bit - I've got two national team games against Holland and Macedonia first, but then I will just chill in Iceland for a bit.
I've got a nine day break in Dubai sorted with my girlfriend too - and I won't be back in England until the end of June when we go away on pre-season.
I will have to keep fit until the games because they are massive. The national coach called me and told me to make sure I'm in shape because I might be involved - I've been involved against Holland as a sub and it's something I would really like to be involved in again.
After that, the plan is just to clear my head, rest and do nothing for a bit! My English phone is getting switched off and I'm going to spend time with my family and friends.
I need the break if I'm honest. My body is okay, but my mind is pretty tired. Having a chance to recharge and enjoy home comforts will be great for me and get me ready for next year.
I was really happy to get the Player of the Year and Community Player of the Year awards on Monday. Both mean a lot to me.
It's always great to get awards because it shows you're doing something right. I've felt like I've played well and I'm proud to be acknowledged for that.
I'm also really proud to have won the community award. I've been able to speak to a lot of fans this year and go to schools and hospitals on official visits.
I've always tried to go on the visits because the kids love it and it's not the normal thing for them to see players. When we go along, it's a laugh and everyone enjoys it and they have something to remember for a long time, hopefully.
I don't do it because I want awards - but it means a lot to have it recognised.
The last thing I've done this season was Marcus Hall's golf day on Wednesday.
I have played a few times back in Iceland but hadn't played in a long time.
I bought new clubs and the clothes for the occasion and my team did pretty well - we finished in third out of something like 20 teams! It was a good day all round and Hally was set-up with an exploding ball for his first shot, so there was plenty of laughs. I reckon now I've got the kit I'll play more when I'm back in England and try and get better.
Anyway, thanks for your support this year. Next year, I think we'll do a lot better as a team. We have a great manager, great stadium and with a couple more players I think we can start challenging for the play-offs. Your support for me and the team will be just as important as it was this year.
I'm back properly around pre-season time so speak to you all then. Hope you all have a great summer.
Aron"
