Coventry City manager Steve Pressley has admitted that he was interested in Hibernian defender Paul Hanlon but that is no longer an option.
Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “Yes at one time it looked as if something might happen there.
“The situation was that when Terry Butcher had his big clear-out at the end of last season, Paul’s agent contacted us and asked if we’d be interested and I said I was because he’s a good athletic player who can play at centre-half or left-back.
“But then the goalposts moved – Terry was sacked, Hibs got a new manager in and suddenly Paul was very much part of their plans again. The circumstances have changed so there’s nothing happening there.
