Issac Osbourne has moved away from wanting to play in a central midfield role to one where he is happy to play in any positiion.

The change has come about due to the Birmingham born defender becoming a father just over three months ago and Osbourne told the CT: "Football is a sport but it is my job at the end of the day and having a baby is a big responsibility and that's how I see things now.

"That's why I see playing right-back as a good thing now because it is my job and I need to provide for my family.

"If I am playing, even out of position, it means I am making progress in my career.

"I spoke to the manager and said that after having a bit of time out of the team I realised how much playing meant to me.

"I know I have moaned about wanting to play centre midfield but at the end of the day I just enjoy playing and if that is at right back, so be it.

"I realised that the only thing that matters is getting myself on the pitch, no matter what position, because being on the bench is not nice.

"If I can do a job as a right-back and the manager gives me a chance there then I will do my best at that position, and I feel I am doing okay there."
