Newspaper reports this morning have Crystal Palace manager Paul Hart moving into the favourites position to take over at The Ricoh.
Hart can leave Palace any time he wants to, so no compensation would be involved. With Palace in deep financial trouble, hart may well be tempted to leave for a more stable club. Despite working in London, Paul Hart still lives in the midlands and the Coventry job would be ideal from his perspective.
If he were to become City's new manager it would be his fourth managerial job of the year. He started at troubled Portsmouth and then went the QPR, another club in managerial turmoil, before ending up at Crystal Palace with the brief to keep The Eagles in the Championship.
