Coventry City loanee Alex Nimely has said that having the support of manager Andy Thorn was the most important reason for him joining the Sky Blues.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Nimely, who christened his debut with a goal in the 3-1 win over Middlesbrough, said: "I think having the manager behind me in what I am doing is the most important thing. I had a lot of other options.
"Other Championship clubs came in for me but Andy Thorn has been watching me for a while. He knew from looking at my skill in the youth team, that I could add something to this side.
"He was so keen to bring me in and to play with him backing me is very important. It relieves the pressure on me and I can enjoy my football.
"That's what happened today and I am sure I can keep going and playing well for the club."
