Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that Ryan Haynes is not for sale.
There has been speculation that with City living on the money from the Callum Wilson transfer to subsidise the meagre gates they are getting at the Ricoh Arena as supporters stay away from matches for a variety of reasons, that Ryan Haynes will be one of those players sold in order to keep the club going.
However, Steven Pressley has come out and said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “He’s not ready to go, nowhere near ready to leave.
“He needs to play 100-odd games for this football club before there’s any thought of that.
“And at this moment in time we want to build a team, not sell our best young players. We’re not going through this process of developing players to sell, we’re doing it to help us win things.”
