Coventry City manager Chris Coleman feels that the club are heading in the right direction.
Speaking to the club website before heading off to Warwick University where City will train this week, Coleman said: "You have to put certain things in place and I think that has been done and would have been done if I had got the job or not because the chairman knows what is necessary.
"A great deal of work has gone on behind the scenes and things which had to be put in place, have been put in place. "Work on the training ground is going on and that will be so much better for everyone and other changes have been made which make me believe that the Club as a whole is going in the right direction.
"The chairman has been great. We have had probably two meetings a week at the Ricoh since the end of the season and we have been on the phone every day while we were away.
"Our chief scout Andy Thorn and our contacts across Europe know what we are looking for and have been working hard to make that happen.
"The new lads have fitted in well which is important with all signings and they have already been able to show their quality."
