Adrian Heath who might not be at Highfield Road by the time the FA Cup 4th Round game at Newcastle is played, said he was happy with the tie.
The former Burnley boss told the club website: "I’m really happy with the draw. "I think the FA Cup can go two ways - you can either have a team at home that you think you’ve got a good chance against or you can be drawn against one of the glamour clubs and there’s no doubt that Newcastle United are one of those.
"I know from coaching in the North East with Sunderland how important they consider the FA Cup to be up there and I’ve no doubt that it’ll be a full house of over 50,000 at St James’ Park for the game.
"It’s also a great opportunity for the Club to bring in revenue which is important. All of our players will be really looking forward to the clash - you have people like Luke Steele who have never played in the FA Cup until this season and now have a game against Premiership opposition in a massive stadium. e go into the game with no pressure as everyone will expect Newcastle to progress.
"I’m sure Graeme Souness will be happy with the draw as they have a team at home who they will be expecting to beat.
"However we know what we’re capable of and if we keep it tight early doors you never know what might happen."
