Heath told the club website: "The manager has asked a couple of times if he wants to stick and have another go at it. Going out on loan and scoring a few goals has made him feel wanted and perhaps he’s found his confidence again.
"People don’t want to see him beating four or five men but they do want to see him using the attributes he has got – he’s big, he’s strong and he’s powerful. We trained on Thursday and did well and we thought he might just do us a turn on Saturday.
"He’s come off the bench and done terrific but he has to play at that level every week. He knows that and if he does he can resurrect his career at Coventry City and we’d be delighted."
Meanwhile Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore is still interested in signing the Nigerian.
