Adrian Heath is to remain as Micky Adams number two.
Brought to the club by Peter Reid, the former Stoke player, has been involved with the day to day playing side and deputised in Reid's absence, winning the Perl Trophy.
Heath was put in charge following the resignation of Peter Reid in January and due to the club's financial problems, kept his job.
Micky Adams said on January 21st: "I know Adrian from afar, we'll see how we get on and hopefully it'll be a marriage made in heaven."
Having worked together for four months, it seems the pair have bonded.
Heath To Stay
This means that it is now unlikely that Trevor Peake will return to Coventry. The 1987 FA Cup Finalist is good mates with Adams and a move to bring Peake back to Coventry was expected.
Heath told the CET: "I am delighted that I am staying on. "We are moving to a new stadium and it is a very exciting time. I just hope we can keep the players who have been offered new deals and add one or two so that we can kick on next season. "I feel that we started to get things going in the last couple of months and it is now imperative that we keep our better players next season."
