Former Coventry City youngsters Danny Sturridge and Jordan Henderson were amongst the goals for England U21's in a 4-0 victory away to Denmark.
Danny Wellbeck opened the scoring for former City player Stuart Pearce's side in the 22nd minute and in the 57th minute, Danny Sturridge had a shot saved and Scott Sinclair pounced to fire home the loose ball.
Sturridge, now on loan at Bolton from Chelsea, who had a fine game scored a great goal four minutes later,slipping the ball under the keeper after holding off the challenges of a defender.
In the 71st minute, Sunderland's Jordan Henderson, who City wanted on a season long loan during Chris Coleman's time at CCFC, also kept his cool to beat the keeper for England's fourth.
Henderson was replaced in the 78th minute by another former Sky Blue Jack Cork as England cruised to victory.
England U21's take on Iceland U21's who have City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson in their squad at Preston on Monday night.
