"It looks like a good club and the lads have made me very welcome, so I am excited to be here," said 18 year old Henderson to the CT.
"I saw the game against Cardiff and it was a bad result but you have just got to move forward and look at the next game, and hopefully we can beat Derby.
"The lads are not too down about the result and just looking forward to tomorrow's game. I have never been to Pride Park but hopefully I can get in the team.
"I am hoping to get a few games under my belt.Hopefully, if I am doing really well, I can extend my loan or get called back by Sunderland to get more games in the first team."
"I have come on against Chelsea and started against Blackburn, so it was good experience, but I want to be playing first-team football as soon as possible."
Derby County hope to have Andy Todd, Steve Davies, Jay McEveley and Nathan Ellington available for the game.
