Former Coventry City loanee Jordan Henderson wants a new deal with Liverpool, according to The People.
Henderson has fifteen months left on his £70k a week deal and has not yet reached any agreement over a new contract.
The paper says that the England international expects that a new £120k a week deal with be sorted and told Steve Bates:"I love playing football for Liverpool and i want to be there for many years and in terms of my contract I think everyone will make a deal of it.
"It is definitely not a major issue for me nor is it proving a distraction to my form or my focus."
