Alan Limb, an expert in insolvency practice, has said that the Football League should explain to everyone concerned what their view of the Coventry City situtation is.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Les Reid, Mr Limb said: “I would have expected that the administrator’s proposals would have provided some explanation about how and when the Club’s playing assets were transferred from CCFC Ltd to Holdings.
“The director who signed the last set of accounts for both companies has also been silent on this point. His statement of affairs clearly confirms that the transfer has occurred.
“Irrespective of what the Administrator attempts to do, it is the Football League who decide who gets to play in League 1 as Coventry City next season and where.
“Their continued public silence is intriguing, but not helpful in seeing the way forward.
“Perhaps they never anticipated that the current situation could arise when they allowed Holdings to register players’ contracts in Holdings, not CCFC Ltd.
“I believe it is high time that the League explained for everyone concerned what their view of the situation is and how the Club can still be a member of the League on the first day of next season.
