Shrewsbury Town manager Paul Hirst thought his side look tired during the 0-0 draw with Coventry City.
Tyler Roberts had a 44th minute penalty saved in a game which saw Andy Rose stretchered off after only two minutes.
Speaking to the Press Association, Hirst said: "In the sort of strangest way it could be the best point we get this season because we didn't play well at all. We looked tired, we couldn't pass the ball simply. Coventry looked livelier and were on the front foot more.
"We've had the best chance of the game to win it obviously, but we didn't take that.
"Right from the start - I've just been told their lad's okay so that's good news - that sort of set the day off in a strange sort of way.
"You're waiting to get started and it was like we didn't start at all.
"The positive is we kept a clean sheet and it's another point towards getting this club safe. If you don't play well you try and get something from the game and we've done that.
"We were talking in the week about a clean sheet which is the first for a while."
