Coventry City supporter Gary Hoffman has pledged to turn British Banking on its head.

Doing his day job whilst working on a new bid to takeover the Sky Blues, Mr Hoffman is expected to ring the changes with his NBNK Bank which is currently trying to take over all 632 branches of Lloyds.

Mr Hoffman told Sun City yesterday: "We are setting out to be something different. Customers say people in banks should not be rewarded for what they sell. We will reward them on how they help.

"People say management having short-term bonuses was a big cause of what went wrong. We will not have any short-term bonuses for senior management, I think that's a big change."
