Coventry City CEO Graham Hover was reported by the CET as being "in shock" following the receiving of a letter informing him that he had been suspended from duties at Highfield Road.
Hover In Shock
Mr Hover, who it is fair to say has never been a popular figure amongst supporters, was not speaking but his solicitor Chris Farnell issued a statement saying: "We are surprised about the recent turn of events at the football club and are at this stage mystified as to the reasons for the action taken by the chairman.
"We will be meeting with Mike McGinnity fairly shortly in order to clarify any confusion and to resolve this situation. We have no idea as to what this relates to. This is a shock."
