Hover On Player Contracts

City's Chief Executive Graham Hover believes that the majority of players offered contracts will accept them. "We have made them offers and they now have a bit of time to look at their options and listen to any other offers, which is their prerogative," said Hover to the CET.

"But we believe we have made fair offers to all the players Micky Adams has identified that he wants to keep and we are now waiting for them to respond.

"I am optimistic that the majority will agree. "The ball is very much in their court and the players clearly hold the upper hand in these situations. "We can only pay the players within our limits for the remuneration for the standard of football we are playing at the moment."
