Here are our views on how the new boys fared.
Keiran Westwood
Played 63 mins and 90 mins
Certainly a good shot stopper as the 400 City supporters at Carlisle for the League Cup game last August will testify.
Westwood used his hands and feet to good effect, making some top quality saves in both of the matches. His angles and positioning was excellent whilst his kicks almost always found a City player.
He did concede four goals all of which came from a crowded penalty area.
Stephen Wright
Played 45 mins and 90 mins
Not hard to see why Chris Coleman was quick to offer him a contract. A good work rate and a good tackler who does not like to let attackers past him.
Having someone with recent Premiership experience can only benefit a City team which needs a classy right back.
Aron Einar Gunnarsson
Played 45 mins and 90 mins
An Icelandic version of Lloyd McGrath. Tough tackles are him as is passion and committment. He covered so much ground, chased and got stuck in.
Aron proved that he is not frightened of the rough stuff in the Brasov game and showed in two games a maturity beyond his nineteen years.
Guillame Beuzelin
Played 45 mins and 75 mins
A bit of a baptism of fire. He didnt get much time on the ball and was often closed down very quickly. To his credit, he tackled well, used his head and his passing was good.
A few more games to get the feel of English football and we'll see why Hibs fans were gutted that he left.
Freddie Eastwood
Played 26 mins and 45 mins
A second half substitute in both games. He was due to start at Stade Nyonnais and warmed up but was replaced before the start.
In both matches. he displayed some good footwork and laid the ball off well but did not get a chance to shoot.
Clinton Morrison
Played 21 mins and 38 mins
Like Eastwood, a player needs match practice. Morrison was keen to give the referee his opinion in the Brasov game and his comments towards an inept referee was the same as ours but he showed some good touches and would prove a useful signing as long as he gets the service.
