Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has described Herman Hreidarsson as being “streetwise”.
The left back who joined City for the rest of the season from Portsmouth last week added some steel to City’s defence and Andy Thorn told the CT: “He’s street-wise – he’s got that nous on the football pitch,” said the manager, “and he gave us a real man’s display, pushing and pulling people in front of him.
“We’ve got a nice balance of youth and experience in the team now and that showed in the game.
"We’ve got some quality going forward and I think we’re capable of keeping a lot of clean sheets in the second half of the season.
“I’d sill like some more, but that was a good start and I’ll take that.”
