Hreidarsson To Bring Team For Pompey Benefit Match

There are reports that former Coventry City loanee Hermann Hreidarsson will help out his former Portsmouth team by bringing over his IBV side for a match to raise funds forthe cash strickened South Coast club.

Hreidarsson, who joined City on loan from Portsmouth,  injured his shoulder in City's game at Blackpool in only his second game last season and was not seen again.

The defender returned to his native Iceland and was appointed manager of IBV for this season and is being reported as paying the expenses of the team to come to Fratton Park out of his own pocket.
