Coventry City midfielder Michael Hughes has said that he is happy playing the holding role, in front of the back four for City.
Speaking to Sky Blue World, the Northern Irishman who is taking his coaching badges in the summer said: "At Palace I played there for a few games and I played it a couple of games here when Iain was here. Obviously I have played there for the last two games under Chris. I enjoy it in there.
"It's a role where you have a little bit more freedom and you've got to make sure that you are covering the back four and sweeping up in front of them. But there's a license to get on the ball and the gaffer wants us to get on the ball and play and that suits me because I quite like doing that.
"I am really enjoying the new regime and I think I speak for everyone when I say that. The approach is very football-orientated and the gaffer wants us to play and pass it. You always get changes with new managers and even in the last few days, working with him and Steve, I have picked up some new things, so it's been very interesting for me to listen to how they do things.
