Coventry City left back Chris Hussey, who returned from injury to play in last Saturday's defeat at Peterborough, is certain their luck will soon change and they will start to win again.
The 22 year old defender played his first game in three weeks at London Road, but still managed to get in a couple of long range shots and a few good crosses, but without any luck.
Hussey had a knock on his left ankle at Doncaster and aggravated it again in training which meant the three week layoff.
Speaking to the CT, he explained: “I had a sore left ankle from training. I took a kick against Doncaster and it was bruised and then I over-stretched it at Ryton.
“I haven’t trained for about ten days but I had a couple of shots and put a couple of good balls in the box, as did Cyrus, but we just don’t seem to score at the moment. Everyone is a bit down because we felt we deserved something from the game.
“Although we are having loads of possession and playing some good stuff at times, we just don’t seem to have that cutting edge, but if we stick to our guns I’m sure the results will come.”
