Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he appreciates those who put in hard work.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Pressley, denied accusations of him being a soft touch and said: "A soft manager? I don’t think so. What I am is a manager who appreciates people who work hard, and if I get that commitment and desire from my group I can handle the mistakes and disappointment.
“I think our supporters should be able to handle that as well if they can see the player is trying to give his maximum to the team.
“That’s the case with Jordan at the weekend and every day on the training field when he’s in here in the gym later than anybody else, working at becoming a proper football player.
“When people make genuine, honest mistakes, that’s football – when they work as hard as Jordan does, I can live with that.”
