Coventry City loanee Striker Nathan Eccleston has said that he bit Steven Pressley's hand off when he asked him to join the Sky Blues.
Speaking about his loan move from Blackpool, Eccleston told Keiran Crowley: "I got a phone call off the gaffer which got me out of bed as it was my day off. He said did I want to come down here to get game time until the end of the season and I bit his hand off."
Eccleston made his debut for the Sky Blues coming on as a substitute against Stevenage last night and said: "You never expect to start. You have to work hard and work for your shirt. I have not been here long but I know how important getting the three points was and i'm glad we were able to do that."
