Coventry City forward Cody McDonald has said that he does not set himself targets.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, McDonald said: "I don't really set myself targets for a season but I just want to get myself fit and ready to do well next season. I need to perform well to keep myself in the thoughts of the manager.
"There will be good competition next season but what we all want is to have is a run of games so we can pick up form and for a striker, that is really important.
"We are all looking forward to the season and the challenges we will face. We can't wait for the season to start and hopefully we can all do what is required of us."
