Devon Kelly-Evans said that he enjoyed it as he crowned his full league debut with a goal for Coventry City in a 2-0 win against Exeter City.
The Cov kid was only a substitute but a back twinge suffered by Stuart Beavon meant that he started and played the whole game.
Speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Kelly-Evans said: "I enjoyed that. What a week.
"I turned 21 on Thursday, made my full league debut today and then scored. I am over the moon with it.
"I was a little emotional when i scored today because I have been waiting for so long, and dreaming about it for so long.
"I did not know I was starting until I got the shout towards the end of the warm-up. The adrenaline then kicks in and the excitment and nerves. I felt bad for Beavon but it gave me the opportunity and I am so happy that I took my chance.
"You have to prepare for every game properly, no matter what, and that put me in good sted for today."
