Jim O'Brien is delighted to have signed for Coventry City.
The Scot, born in West Dumbartonshire, was a free agent after being released by Barnsley and has joined City on a two year deal.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley about his move, O'Brien said: "I'm delighted to get the deal done. The manager phoned me at the end of last season and told me he wanted to bring me in.
"It was one of the main reasons I signed for the club as it is always nice to be wanted. It's nice to be one of the first through the door as well because it is easier to settle into the squad."
