Former Coventry City keeper Marton Fulop admitted before facing the Sky Blues this afternoon for Ipswich Town at Portman Road that he had a great time at City for whom he made 33 appearances.
"I had a great six months at Coventry and enjoyed every minute," said Fulop to the CT's Andy Turner.
"It was a really nice club with very good fans and it was a great spell for me as it kick started my career.
"I won the club's Young Player Of The Year while I was there and I really enjoyed working with Micky Adams, Adrian Heath, Alan Cork and Seamus McDonagh.
"When I was there, it was the best the club had done in a long time. When I arrived from Tottenham, we were 22nd in the league and we finished eighth and it was great to play with Dennis Wise, Don Hutchison, Richard Shaw and Robert Page.
"It was good for me because I learned a lot at that stage of my career and we nearly made the play-offs, so it was a good season for the club in the end."
