Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he has decisions to make over who will play in midfield in Sunday's League One game against Shrewsbury Town.
“We could have the strongest bench I’ve had since I’ve been here,” Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
“At no time, really, have we had a striker ready to come on. That’s not making excuses; that’s just the reality of the situation.
“And that’s an exciting prospect, being able to have somebody to come on and change the game in that manner for us.
"As we saw at the weekend, when we brought on the likes of Marshall and McGeouch and these types of players, they can change the course of the game to a degree, and that’s what we need.
“We’ve not been blessed with an great depth to the group for the majority of the season, rather been reliant on the same personnel week in, week out.
“I’ll have decisions to make this week, there’s no doubt about that, but that’s a nice position to be in. We have asked so much of each player in what is a demanding style of play, and it takes its toll so I need to look at that when I consider the selection going forward.”
