Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he has spoken to players whom he would like to sign.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Pressley, who has yet to sign a player and has lost the services of Joe Murphy who has joined Huddersfield Town plus Cyrus Christie and Franck Moussa whose contracts expire in less than a fortnight, said: “I have met and spoken with several players.
“We have made offers to a couple of players but at this moment in time the players we’ve spoken to have other options and they are considering them.
“But I am hoping we’ll get answers from them in the next week to ten days. Whether they will be positive or negative, I don’t know, but we’re certainly starting the process and trying to recruit.
“As I have said in the past, it’s not as easy as you think to bring in the right personnel.”
