Marcus Tudgay has said that he has to keep himself fit and ready to play and take his chances when they arise.

Tudgay started for Coventry City as Adam Armstrong was on England U19's duty and speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Geoff Foster, the striker who scored City's first goal in a 2-1 win at Burton Albion, said:"As a team performance, it was a good one.

The biggest thing for me is to try and keep fit for these games when we have injuries or players away so I have to stay fit when I'm required.

The last five minutes I was blowing. But I was strong enough to grind it out and that's the main thing for me, to keep myself ready for when an opportunity arises, I can be an experienced head for the team.

"I might be in for one or two games then be out for five, but that's the way it is and I have to be ready."
