Leon Barnett has said that he hopes that he can repay Coventry City's faith in him after he extended his loan until the end of the season.
Speaking to the club website, Barnett said: "It's a really good feeling to know you're wanted by a club and the way the manager and the players have been have made me feel that way here.
"I just hope I can repay the club's faith in me with good performances up until the end of the season.
"I wasn't to sure what was going to happen originally but the manager said he wanted me to stay and now it is all sorted it's put me in a very positive frame of mind.
"I don't feel like a loanee here. I feel part of the team because that's the way everyone here has made me feel and hopefully I can contribute to improved team performances by creating a little bit more competition for places at the back.
"I want to be at a team that wants me to be part of the things and developments they are involved in and that's certainly the case here so I want to get my head down and keep working hard and put in some good display for the club."
