Coventry City's Conor Thomas has said that he hopes that the problems he has suffered with concussion are over.
The midfielder suffered two bouts against Nuneaton and Nottingham Forest in an U21 fixture and speaking to Aidan McCartney of the Coventry Telegraph at this morning's press conference, Thomas said: "It was really scary because my short term memory was affected. I could be speaking to you here and 15 minutes later I would completely forget what I had said. I couldn't drive or anything and it was horrible.
"It happened against Nuneaton and then Nottingham Forest U-21s. I just went up for a header and it happened again.
"I've been looked at by so many doctors and they just don't want to take any chances.
"I have been so bored, not even being able to watch telly, so I came in just to be around people.
"I've had to deal with it and hopefully I am over it now."
"All I could do was sleep and eat. I couldn't play on my computer games or stay in brightly lit rooms because I'd get headaches and things."
