I Know What Boothroyd Is All About - King

Coventry City striker Marlon King has backed the way manager Aidy Boothroyd goes in getting his team to get results.
Speaking about his manager, King told the CT:
"It is a formula I recognise because I have worked with the gaffer before and I know what he is about.
"Obviously not everyone has worked with him here and he is making that transition to playing a certain way and that takes time sometimes."Earlier on in the season we would have probably lost games like Saturday's and the week before at Scunthorpe but we are managing games a lot better now and taking results.
"It was a good three points against Middlebrough who are a good side regardless of their position in the league. We will take the 1-0 win. It might not have been that good on the eye but it is good to be in and around it going into Christmas.
"We beat Scunthorpe 2-0 and came away with another clean sheet against another good side the week before. The goalkeeper and back four have been magnificent this season and I am sure they are happy at the moment and we just have to build on that.
"It is a tough league and no-one is going to be running away with it bar QPR, but I am sure they are going to come up against a difficult spell just like we did when we lost three in a row. So to bounce back from that with three wins is the positive we have to take out of it.
"But it is important not to get too carried away. We have to take one game at a time because last time we were on a good run we suddenly lost three in a row. It is just a case of onwards and upwards and looking forward to Reading."
