Speaking to the CT, the Birmingham born defender who had a good season with City's U18's and has signed a one year professional deal said: "I really enjoyed it at Nuneaton.
"I came into a winning team which obviously helped, but they are a great club with great fans and it has been really good to be involved with the promotion and winning the Senior Cup.
"It is a different game to Academy football and a few of the lads who had already been there said that it is really physical and I might not like it.
But I think I took to this level really well - I like that side of the game and my job is all about heading the ball and passing it to the lads who have got the skills.
"The Boro players are good footballers who like to pass the ball and it has been good for me to be part of it and try to do the best I could.
"The play-off final was one of the biggest games I have played in with 3,000 plus fans and it was a great experience.
All the lads were up for it and we produced a good performance on the day - even though we went 1-0 down, which isn't great in a play-off final, we came back really well on a day when a lot of teams would have crumbled.
"There is a great spirit at Nuneaton and that came through in the end and I was really pleased that we could win for the fans.
"It is a great family club and it deserves the success it has enjoyed."
