"There is a way to lose and that wasn't it today," said Coleman at the aftergame press conference.
"We knew Blackpool were going to have their tails up after beating Wigan. They've started well and they are unbeaten so we knew it would be hard but we've got to be better than that and we are better than that.
"Our second 45 minutes were simply abysmal. "I have a dressing room full of players who are unhappy, disappointed and disgruntled - and rightly so.
"Their keeper could have come off the pitch and we just have not turned up to the match for the past few games and I don't know why that is.
"I have to take the blame as I have asked the players to play in formation and something isn't working.
"We have been lacklustre and it's got to stop now. There's a way to los and we lost in the worst possible fashion and we've got two weeks to think about that."
