Richard Wood has thanked all the Coventry City supporters for their support.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Wood who has been released by the Sky Blues, said: "I can’t fault the club and how it has treated me. The fans have treated me well too, and I have had no problems whatsoever and got no arguments or regrets about my time here because it’s been good.
“It has been a tough few years and probably longer than that for Coventry fans so I do have sympathy for them.
"It’s not been easy for them but they have still been there, especially some of the away days this season when they have been brilliant and that’s one thing that I will take away with me, the fantastic support the fans are still giving through all the hard times they’re going through and I thank them for that.”
