Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has been singing the praises of Joe Murphy.
Murphy had a superb game at West Ham United on Monday and played very well in the home wins over Bristol City and Brighton, in stark contrast to earlier games this season, whereby the City support have felt that understudy Chris Dunn should have been given a run out.
Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, City boss Andy Thorn said: "His performances over Christmas have been phenomenal.
"He's now doing what I know he can do. All right, he made a couple of errors before that but in a lot of games this season he kept us uin games but it just wasn't highlighted.
"Keiren Westwood's are big boots to fill but he's not filling anyone's boots because he's Joe Murphy, an international keeper and I think he's top drawer."
